Bahubali 2 review

This review doesn't disclose the greatest ever secret...so you can safely continue

Bahubali 2 is a magnum opus in true sense. Extravagance at it's best, the movie leaves no stones unturned to make it a perfect visual treat.
The frame is set on a magnanimous scale & on top of it is added extraordinary cinematography, great action sequences & mind-blogging vfx effects & you have to be in awe of the experience.
Also the marketing strategy of the movie will be a lesson to reckon for the future film makers. The 1st installment ended on a note triggering the greatest ever mystery as to why Katappa killed Bahubali. No wonder people flocked in numbers to watch the 2nd installment if not just to know the answer to the mystery.
The storyline was predictable albeit some twists. However the last 15 mins seem to have been made in haste just to complete the story line. Probably I would have loved the movie to be shorter with another sequel in the offing & given more space to the Mahendra Bahubali & his revenge story, rather than having it finished in last 15 mins .
Prabhas & Anushka Shetty were spectacular , followed by some stellar performances by Ramya Krishnan, Satyaraj & Rana Daggubati. The performances were over the top & dramatic but you really can't expect a Nawazuddin style subtle perform in a larger than life magnum opus. So the drama actually added spice to the already spicy story.

Verdict : Overall Bahubali 2 is an amazing experience & you have to watch it in large screens to feel it. However it might have been better if the movie had been released in 3d version but as of now the current 2d version works greatly to its favour.
