BuffMaster's review of Rangoon

'Bloody Hell'...The song catch line defines the movie perfectly.....Maybe WTF would have suited even more.
  A Vishal Bhardwaj movie on a historic event, & that too starring Kangana & Shahid  is more than enough for a non suspecting movie lover like me to go to a theatre in the middle of the night. But the joy ends there.
  From some one who had directed movies like Omkara, Maqbool, or Haidar , not sure whether he was in the right state of mind to direct such a 'bloody hell'
  
Pros - Powerful acting from Kangana & Shahid .. the chemistry was really good & the romantic scenes showed some vintage Vishal Bhardwaj touch
   Also, some of the songs were really mellifluous.
   Also it felt good to hear the original INA song

Cons - No logic, weird plot, unnecessary songs & a horrible last 30 mins. If that's a twist at the end, then better not to twist it & keep it simple.
  Saif was badly wasted. Is it the same Saif Ali Khan who played lyangra tyagi in Omkara!!! Wth !!!
